A TROPHY

An exploration into injury through the lens of an action game. Inspired by my car accident, this was my comprehensive deep dive into how it felt trying to settle back into a normal life after months of physical therapy. It is about being at your best and then having that taken away. It is about the countless side effects of pushing yourself through injury, and what happens when you don’t give your body proper time to rest. Rest requires time and patience. The end goal being to get back to the monotonous, boring progress you were making before and get the Trophy. The game uses green screen FMV videos as its character art for detailed action sequences.
